Praises/Prayer Requests

RECENT PRAISES

  • We have had an absolutely wonderful first year of marriage. We were able to celebrate it exploring and relaxing in South Lake Tahoe.
  • We had an incredible summer with our summer staff team, seeing over 200 decisions made by our campers for Christ, including over 40 salvations!
  • After our summer was officially over, we were able to go spend time with both sides of our family in Hollister and San Diego.

PRAYER REQUESTS (Updated this October!)

  • General prayer requests:
    • Our fall season is here! As we slow down from the craziness of summer, we still are serving almost every week this season! Pray for God’s continual working in our “off-season”.
    • JD is already back at work with new Fall projects, and has been joined by one of our Life Institute guys who will learn under him for a few months. Pray for that time to be profitable! We are also looking to revise the Horsemanship program to allow more campers next summer. Pray for wisdom!
    • I am beginning my new job working with Wolf Mountain’s registration, social media, and fundraising. Pray that I will serve well!
    • I injured my shoulder and wrist this summer, and I am starting physical therapy this fall with specialists. Pray for a quick recovery!
  • Financial prayer requests:
    • We are continuing to raise support for our family. Thanks to the outpour of love over the summer, we are now at 70% of our monthly support level!
    • Fencing. We hope to add a fence around our backyard for future pets and future children! This project will most likely cost around $1,000 for just supplies.
    • House renovation. If the Lord wills, our house renovation will be happening next fall! We have just turned in the specs for our house to begin planning for a second bedroom, bathroom, and hopefully a downstairs room.

ANSWERED PRAYERS (June-September 2025)

  • Projects were accomplished in time for our campers to have a wonderful summer at Wolf Mountain.
  • We had a wonderful time of ministry this summer, and saw spiritual growth with campers and with our summer staff.
  • The Lord took my Grandmother peacefully home into His arms June 20th. We were able to travel down to help with the memorial service, visit with family, and attend her funeral service in Reno despite the busyness of our summer schedule.
  • We were able to travel to Hollister and San Diego to visit our family over our end of summer break. Tickets were cheap and we had a great time with both of our families.
  • At camp, God provided us with three Life Institute guys over the summer who will be serving with us over this next year.

ANSWERED PRAYERS (January – May 2025)

  • Jared and I had the opportunity to travel to to San Diego in February to be counselors at Camp Julian Oaks for a winter camp. It was a wonderful experience, and we were so grateful to serve in that ministry!
  • JD upgraded the fences around camp, and will soon be welcoming five more horses to Wolf Mountain!
  • JD also finished his project of bringing electricity to the horse area, allowing for lights for evening horse activities.
  • My family was able to move my grandmother on my mother’s side to San Diego to be closer to family. My grandparent’s house in Sunnyvale sold within four days of being on the market, and is being used to support my grandmother during this time.
  • Being able to graduate from Liberty University was a huge answer to prayer, and I am so grateful for all the support given to me.
  • After prayerful consideration as to where I will fit in Resident Staff after graduating, I will begin working in our Registration Office this fall!

ANSWERED PRAYERS (August – December 2024)

  • We have been blessed with a wonderful home, marriage, and ministry.
  • Home provisions were abundantly provided through wedding gifts.
  • My grandfather on my father’s side passed away in September. I was able to fly out to Michigan to attend the funeral and connect with family. My other grandfather on my mother’s side passed away December 23. I was also able to attend that memorial service and burial and help support my family.
  • Enough support and help was raised to finish the horse shades in the pastures in time for this year’s winter.
  • We have a reliable vehicle through God’s provision of a Jeep.
  • Jared’s sister just had her first baby girl in December! We are so excited to be an aunt and uncle.
